Cynthia and Edwina Bringle have led storied lives as craftspeople in the South, producing remarkable works of art, mentoring a vast community of makers, and sharing what they know with students, visitors, and collectors at every turn. They have been anchors in the studio craft movement from the 1960s to the present and enabled others to carry those traditions forward. This is their inspiring story as told by Director and Executive Producer E. Vincent Martinez from the Bringle’s home and artist studios at Penland School of Craft in North Carolina - the oldest such craft school in the nation.

BRINGLE: A Tale of Two Makers is an official selection of the 2023 Tryon International Film Festival.
